Finished up this little experimental The Place Beyond The Pines drawing. Really enjoying using this tan paper and mixing up some of the techniques I normally use. Basically with this piece I worked in highlights and dark’s and almost used the tone of the paper as my mid tones.
Here is a little work in progress pic of a place beyond the pines sketch I’m working on. Experimenting a bit more with this tan paper this time with black and white.
These are the materials I used. I mixed between Prismacolor and Faber Castel Polychromo pencil sets. Both of these pencil sets are really enjoyable to use with vibrant colours and they blend so well. This is a drawing of Leon from the movie Leon the Professional (highly recommend it). Which is now my 3rd white on black drawing, I learnt a lot from this one.
