White on black drawing of Caeser in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

I saw Dawn of the Planet of the Apes the other week and the opening shot was awesome. Inspired me to draw this white on black piece using pastel pencils and gel pens. Bonus sketch from  the other week

The Place Beyond The Pines

Finished up this little experimental The Place Beyond The Pines drawing. Really enjoying using this tan paper and mixing up some of the techniques I normally use. Basically with this piece I worked in highlights and dark’s and almost used the tone of the paper as my mid tones.

Finished my Primsacolor / Polychromo tiger!

These are the materials I used. I mixed between Prismacolor and Faber Castel Polychromo pencil sets. Both of these pencil sets are really enjoyable to use with vibrant colours and they blend so well.
