Panorama piece progress shot!

This is the big charcoal piece I have been working on lately. It’s for a local restaurant called ‘O.My’ in Melbourne, if you live in the area I can’t recommend you check it out enough! The drawing is about 2.1 X 1 meter’s and im just coming up to half way! The finalContinue reading “Panorama piece progress shot!”

Chet Faker

Just finished up this commissioned Chet Faker piece for a friend. It’s graphite and white pastel on grey tone paper. Really liked working in the combination of black and white on grey paper! The Place Beyond The Pines

Finished up this little experimental The Place Beyond The Pines drawing. Really enjoying using this tan paper and mixing up some of the techniques I normally use. Basically with this piece I worked in highlights and dark’s and almost used the tone of the paper as my mid tones.

Daft punk piece finished!

So this took a lot longer then I originally expected but its finally finished! Daft Punk in Polychromo and Prismacolor pencils with gel white pens for highlights on Strathemore tan paper. All the reflections were quite a challenge but it was a lot of fun. This was my first time using Strathemore tan paper andContinue reading “Daft punk piece finished!”

Finished my Primsacolor / Polychromo tiger!

These are the materials I used. I mixed between Prismacolor and Faber Castel Polychromo pencil sets. Both of these pencil sets are really enjoyable to use with vibrant colours and they blend so well. Only downside to the Prismacolors is the inner crayon cracks quite a lot. These Pencils are extremely time consuming as wellContinue reading “Finished my Primsacolor / Polychromo tiger!”

More Prismacolour / Faber Castell Polychromos work

I’m currently working on this tiger piece further experimenting with Prismacolours and now also Faber Castell Polychromos. This is a very time consuming medium to work with as it takes layers upon layers to build up colours and differnt tones but its quite rewarding. The Polychromos are nice and pretty similar to the Prismacolors,Continue reading “More Prismacolour / Faber Castell Polychromos work”
