The Byron Bay lighthouse
I’m currently on a holiday in Byron Bay at the moment and wen’t and checked out the lighthouse. While I was there I did a few quick sketches in pen and ink.
Finished Panorama drawing!
Finally complete the piece I have been working on for OMY restaurant. Its a panorama charcoal drawing of all the boys in the kitchen. Drawn on a 200 gsm watercolour paper, using a range of charcoal materials. The piece stretches out about 2.2 X 0.7 metres. Chet Faker
Just finished up this commissioned Chet Faker piece for a friend. It’s graphite and white pastel on grey tone paper. Really liked working in the combination of black and white on grey paper! The Place Beyond The Pines
Finished up this little experimental The Place Beyond The Pines drawing. Really enjoying using this tan paper and mixing up some of the techniques I normally use. Basically with this piece I worked in highlights and dark’s and almost used the tone of the paper as my mid tones.
